The Road to Hell series welcomes author Jorja Lovett

Please welcome Author Jorja Lovett onto the Road to Hell. Jorja is the author of Titanic's Ondine. Other books written by Jorja Lovett are The Wolf on the Hill, Under the Dom's Thrall, Into the Wild, Jackie and her Loose Talk, Pyramid of Passion, The Blood Bar Chronicles, Keyboards and Kink, Vanilla-Free Christmas, and, Wine and Nine.

Now, it’s time to create a little hell and get to the good stuff by revealing all of Jorja's wicked secrets while on the Road to Hell. LOL  Yeah, you wish! ;-D

Grab your favorite drink, sink your teeth into something decadent, sit back, relax and enjoy getting to know Jorja Lovett…

 ~~~
GRACEN:  Tell me three things about yourself that we cannot find on the internet or in your bio?
JORJA: Hmm, my Joe Manganiello fascination and chocolate addiction are well documented…
I won a Miss Elegance competition when I was fourteen lol I used to paint miniature Irish cottages for a living. And, I have freckles!
GRACEN: What hobbies and interests do you participate in when you’re not writing?
JORJA: I'm a real movie buff and there's nothing better for me than curling up and watching a dvd with my other half. I also support my local ice hockey team, the Belfast Giants. Totally nothing to do with the buff Canadian players…
GRACEN: Do you have any writing quirks or certain things you MUST have or do before beginning the writing process?
JORJA: I ease myself in gradually with a cup of tea and some choccies, before I settle down with my trusty notebook and pen. Yes, I write longhand!
GRACEN: If you were plotting to take over the world, how would you do it?
JORJA: Talk someone into doing it for me lol
GRACEN: If you could make one statement that the entire planet would hear and remember, what would it be?
JORJA: Money isn't important, family is.
GRACENWhat genre do you write and why that genre?
JORJA: I primarily write erotic, paranormal romance. All my stories end up with hot love scenes anyway but I enjoy the paranormal element because you have so much scope for characters and extraordinary events.
GRACEN: For those who are not yet familiar with Titanic's Ondine, can you please give us some details about the book?
JORJA: Madeleine is a water nymph who falls in love with Joe, newly appointed crew member of the Titanic. Now that she's found the human who can give her her heart's desire to become human, she doesn't want to let him go and boards the ship in secret. But with tragedy just around the corner can their love survive?
GRACEN:  Do you have any new stories in the works and can you tell us a bit about it/them?
JORJA: I am currently mid-edits in the second book of my wolf shifter series, The Wild Irish Wolves. The Wolf on the Run will be released in October.
GRACEN: If you could describe your writing with one word or brief phrase, what would it be? Please delve into the core of your writing to tell us what word or phrase you want readers to take with them when they’ve finished reading your story.
JORJA: Quirky fun that can still bring a tear to your eye.
GRACEN: What, in your opinion, makes your story unique and what makes it stand out from other stories in your genre?
JORJA: There are many non-fiction books about the Titanic, and probably a few paranormal tales about water nymphs. I doubt there are many stories that combine the two!
GRACEN: What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever done in the name of research?
JORJA: I might have recently written a sex scene involving popping candy…
GRACEN: Of all your books, which character did you have the most fun creating and why?
JORJA: I had the most fun with Caleb Jackson, my rebel wolf shifter in The Wolf on the Hill. He really doesn't care what people think of him and has a whale of a time winding up the heroine. Some of his lines made me laugh out loud.
GRACEN: If you had the opportunity to meet just one of your characters in real life, who would it be and why?
JORJA: Ooh, Edifu from Pyramid of Passion. He's a soldier in the Pharaoh's army and I would have to travel back to Ancient Egypt to meet him. Who wouldn't want a magical necklace to transport them into the bedroom of a sexy man who's keen to worship their body?
GRACEN: Which of your characters would you never want to meet under any circumstance and why?
JORJA: I'm writing two particularly nasty characters for the cosmetics counter in my department store series. If I had these women pointing out all my flaws on a daily basis I'd end up rocking in the corner.
GRACEN:  If you were interviewing yourself, what is the one question you would ask yourself and please give us the answer to that question?
JORJA: Why do you write? I'm asking myself this a lot at the minute as I work through a mental block. The answer is simple. It's part of me. I wouldn't be me without my writing. I write because I enjoy creating characters and their worlds, and life would be very boring otherwise.
GRACEN:  Thanks so much for joining us, Jorja!  It’s been a treat getting to know you better!
JORJA: Thanks for having me!
BLURB:
Water nymph Madeleine has spent a lifetime searching for a human she can marry to become mortal. Finally, she finds true love with Joe Marlowe, who has signed up as crew for Titanic. With her sweetheart set to sail aboard the doomed liner, can she get there in time to save him and find her happy-ever-after?
EXCERPT:
Joe Marlowe was no saint. A saint would keep his distance no matter what temptation lay in his path, not permit a naked woman to rub herself along his body in a forbidden part of the ship. Nor would a saint’s mind stray to imagine that sensual mouth of hers sucking and licking a different part of him. But Madeleine had pushed him too far to turn back now.
His groan encouraged her to press closer. Her full breasts cushioned his chest; the soft mound between her thighs brushed along his hardness. In the pool's secret depths, the lips of her womanhood grazed his shaft and scrambled the last selfless thought in his head.
Backing Madeleine into the side of the pool, he lifted her legs and hoisted them onto his waist. One thrust sheathed him in her silken folds, and nothing mattered anymore except the joining of their bodies.
Madeleine threw back her head and moaned her acceptance. He watched their erotic silhouette in the watery reflections around the pool house. And, as the pale globes of her breasts bobbed in the water and her inner muscles clenched around his cock, he was overcome with heady lust. He would give anything to have the use of a first-class suite . . . and the time and luxury to explore her feminine curves in exquisite detail. But he had neither.
Feet planted on the bottom of the pool, hands anchored to the flare of her hips, he drove into her like a man possessed. Louisa might have taught him the mechanics of sex, but his ex never made him lose control the way Madeleine did. These last months since she came into his life had tested his vow to remain celibate. A kiss, even a look from her, sent a rush of blood straight to his cock. Now, with their commitment to each other voiced out loud, he was finally free to enjoy the pleasures of her body.
Loved the interview and I learned something new about you :-)
Don't like the sound of those two women at the cosmetic counter much!
