Jason Ellis' Amelia Maylock series ~ Book 4

The fourth book in the Amelia Maylock series.

"I need to be careful." People in the old fashioned dimension were not familiar with magic of any kind. Amelia reminded herself that staying disguised was paramount. If she did find something wrong in the town square, Amelia knew she would need to decide quickly if she was going to react, or get out of there to safety. As she turned the final corner and saw the black iron fence ahead of her, it was clear straight away that something connected to her magical world was happening. A few feet in front of her, hanging in the middle of the road, all the way up to the fence, was an uneven line of white light. It had a distinctive blue tinge to it and looked as if someone had run along with a pen - that wrote in light - scribbling in the air. "I've never seen anything like that before!" Pretending to be totally unaware of it, and just a 'normal' girl walking home, Amelia followed the light trail towards the iron fence.

I started writing in approximately 1997(ish) with an idea that was in my head ... it's still there, maybe one day I'll finish it.
Anyway, true story, I started off with a trilogy(sci-fi) after I drew an illustration on my PC. You see, there had to be a reason for the picture - what was happening? What had made this scene happen?
Like I say, a trilogy followed, from one picture ... it'll be re-published one day after I've laughed at my early writing. Others followed, some I've taken out of print to edit and republish(like the sci-fi trilogy mentioned above), others may never see print again(or Kindle), but I doubt I'll ever let that happen :)
At present, I'm working on many new books. We have the Amelia Maylock series(Kids/ teen fantasy), the brand new Holly Silverstone books(Kids/ teen gothic fantasy), The Danny Monroe books(illustrated teen horror), some supernatural/ horror as well(Breed of Love to name one title), and dystopian YA with 'The Long Journey to Sincerity'; Elana Mayne #1 ... wow, I am busy!!

I live in the UK - this means I drink tea and enjoy one day in every year where the weather is great.
I'm engaged, have 3 amazing kids, and spend practically my entire time writing, thinking about writing, networking on the internet with other authors/ readers ... but I'm a sucka for Lego games on the Wii; Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, Indiana Jones etc ... they are too much fun!!
I do play the family games but the kids are getting better so once they start beating me at bowling or golf, I'll need an excuse not to play ;)

I try to make all my swag because I like the 'personal' touch. I make bookmarks, keyrings, put my covers on tote bags etc … it's fun :)

Jason Ellis' Amelia Maylock series ~ Book 3

The third book in the Amelia Maylock series. - They all started walking up the bank and used the tree trunks as cover, concealing themselves in the shadows when they moved, silently. It was a needed skill too as Maratlus had guards on patrol near the metal entrances to the caves. Some were creatures that Amelia recognised from her training with the old hag - when she created attackers for Amelia to overcome, safely - and others were large, muscular people. The creatures were called hybrids because Erryaz had used her evil magic to create many drones, for uses such as this. The creatures here looked like humans cross bred with dogs or wolves. They stood upright on two legs, yet were covered in fur and had a long snout and extremely sharp teeth. They were all heavily armed and simply stood on watch, turning their heads left and right in a monotonous rhythm.

Jason Ellis' Amelia Maylock series ~ Book 2

Hidden in the amethyst is the second book in the Amelia Maylock series.

Had the old hag made a mistake? This couldn't be what Amelia was supposed to meet here, could it? Why would she send Amelia to fight such a - whatever it was - without warning her first? Amelia didn't have time to worry any longer as the creature took another giant step forward, looming closer and lowering its huge head towards her, revealing its bright white eyes, sitting in slits in the skull. The light from the orbs at the side of the room glistened off of the black bone, but it couldn't make the creature look anything other than terrifying.

Jason Ellis' Amelia Maylock Series ~ Book 1

The first book in the 'Amelia Maylock' series.
~~ Little did Amelia know that as she dressed for school on a normal Friday morning at the beginning of March, her life would soon change forever. “You are here because you are the only one who can defeat her. I don't know when you will meet her or where but I know it will happen. We found out your whereabouts only recently when an ancient book was discovered, telling us about the twin of Erryaz and where she could be found." Amelia was definitely not expecting an explanation like that. She didn't know what to say or do. ~~

The 12th Year Awakening is the first book in the Amelia Maylock series. Amelia is a happy twelve year old girl who discovers one day that she is very special and has powers. She has an evil twin sister, Erryaz, and Amelia must learn to defeat her while searching dimensions for jewels to aid her in the final fight for good.
