GRACEN: Tell me three
things about yourself that we cannot find on the internet or in your bio?
Kelly Renée: My favorite color is hot pink, I love running, and I
have OCD.
GRACEN: What hobbies and interests do you participate in when you’re not writing?
Kelly Renée: I enjoy painting, mainly Acrylic. I love reading. I
like shooting guns. I love sports! I could
play any
kind of sport all day long.
GRACEN: Do you have any writing quirks or certain things you
MUST have or do before beginning the writing process?
Kelly Renée: Haha no! I just sit down and pick up where I left
off. I’m a unique writer. I am a variety writer who can’t plan how things will
end. I don’t do an outline or try to think the story through. My writing is the
complete opposite of who I am. I was in the Army, I think everything through!
Just, not my writing.
GRACEN: If you were plotting to take over the world, how
would you do it?
Kelly Renée: Slowly. Haha! Well, I’d do it Army style. Silently
and at a pace that keeps me off the radar. ;-)
GRACEN: If you could make one statement that the entire
planet would hear and remember, what would it be?
Kelly Renée: If you want anything bad enough, it’s yours. Just
make sure you truly want it.
GRACEN: What genre do you write and why that
genre?
Kelly Renée: I have written books for other Authors in every
genre but horror and erotica. I personally am trying to find publishers in
every genre. I just landed a contract with Bitten Press, LLC for erotica. My
first book is lesbian erotica. Why did I choose lesbian erotica? Well, that’s
easy. It’s hot!
GRACEN: For those who are not yet familiar with Kelly Renée,
can you please give us some details about the book and/or series?
Kelly Renée: Haha ok, my first Published book is called Not a
Time to Quit. It’s about two alpha females. The one is training the other and
she just wants nothing to do with her. It leads to spontaneous sex that will
definitely make you feel like you are watching it unfold with your own eyes!
They let out all their rage out for each other in a very hot way!
GRACEN: Do you have
any new stories in the works and can you tell us a bit about it/them?
Kelly Renée: Oh heck yes I do! To all of you that don’t like
vampires, this one you will like! My future book (of many) is about a human
that stalks a vampire in hope that she can tame her. The sex is super intense
between the two women! Theirs a part to the story I’m leaving out that will
make you value being a human so much more! You’ll have to read it to find out!
I’m working on about 20+ more stories, you’ll definitely be seeing me all over
the place!
GRACEN: If you could describe your writing with one word or
brief phrase, what would it be? Please delve into the core of your writing to
tell us what word or phrase you want readers to take with them when they’ve
finished reading your story.
Kelly Renée: Visual. If I can’t visualize it, I’m not writing it!
I was published by this publisher because of my ability to visualize every
single second of my writing. In my head it plays like a movie. My goal is to
make you guys see it the same way I do!
GRACEN: What, in your opinion, makes your story unique and what makes it stand out from other stories in your genre? Think of this as a pitch to convince readers to pick up your books.
Kelly Renée: This first book under Bitten Press I did is strictly
about sex. It’s very intense and visual. You can feel how they feel and imagine
everything they are doing. I reread it over 50 times and proofread it 5 times.
With each read I still had the same responses to it! I let my friends read it
off my computer and every one of them ended up blushing and leaving the room.
They had to go cool down!
GRACEN: What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever done in the name of research?
Kelly Renée: For a horror story I’m writing I had to learn more
about how corpse can still live even after their body is dead. Why they take
babies out of the dead Mom. The more I read, the more I wanted to cry or the
more I got grossed out. Also, sex research, there are some major kinks out
there that will do some really crazy stuff. I was in shock wondering why they
would think of some of these things.
GRACEN: Of all your books, which character did you have the most fun creating and why?
Kelly Renée: Joey (Not a Time to Quit). She is dominant and head
strong. Incredibly intimidating in everything she does. I wouldn’t be surprised
if she intimidates herself. The angrier I caused her to be, the more
interesting she became.
GRACEN: If you had the opportunity to meet just one of your characters in real life, who would it be and why?
Kelly Renée: Anglie (Not a Time to Quit). She is super sexy,
she’s the girl on the left of the cover. She has such strong sex appeal that
you just keep wanting more of her!
GRACEN: Which of your characters would you never want to meet under any circumstance and why?
Kelly Renée: Well, in a novel I’m working on. A character I’m
working on is so greedy and dangerous. He just doesn’t care about anyone but
himself. Very disgusting human being that needs destroyed! His name is Malachi.
Once I find a publisher it will be releasing and you guys are going to hate
Malachi as much as I do!
GRACEN: If you were interviewing yourself, what is the one question you would ask yourself and please give us the answer to that question?
Kelly Renée: Haha I’ve never really thought about it. I guess why
do you keep writing? I write for the fans. In the very beginning I started
writing because my PTSD was consuming me. I couldn’t feel or express emotions
or feelings. I stopped feeling anything. I had to go to counseling because the
Army saw it as a huge problem. Now, as a civilian the problem has gotten worse.
I started writing and found all the pieces I thought I lost. I found emotions in
my writing and feelings I thought I’d never have again. Now, I have inspired a
large amount of people and it’s my motivation. I’ve helped so many people go
torwards their dream or pick up a pen and start writing too. I do it out of
pure selflessness. I want everyone to be happy and if my work makes them happy,
I’ll never stop writing!

Bio:
Kelly
Renée started her journey in the Army. After intense events she was sent home
and put in recovery. She now had plenty of free time on her hands with no clue
what her next move was going to be. One day she found herself sitting on the
floor looking at old school work from High School. Realizing all of her English
pieces had notes of her being an incredible writer, in some way, finally opened
her eyes to her talent. Since then she
has become a nonstop creative fountain full of stories to tell; she’s been at
it for the past two years. In that time, she has contributed in the following
genres: Sci-fi, Romance, Children’s,
Erotica, F/F, Drama, Suspense, Action, Horror and is also working on
Paranormal. Plus, she is a Published Author under Bitten Press, LLC.
She
spent three months in 2012 creating the first chapter in a list of books (for
Chainbooks.com) which include: What Was Meant to be, Young Shot, Accidental
E-Mail, Running on Money, Cartoon Transformer, Infamous Date, Lying Prison, and
True Loves Power. Also, she has written a chapter in a couple of books, which

Nordhei. She Self-Published a Children’s
Book titled Litter Bug and is currently working on her first novel and over a
couple dozen short stories. She has a
