The Road to Hell series welcomes author Eva Lefoy

Please welcome Author Eva Lefoy  onto the Road to Hell. Eva Lefoy is the author of Sweet Cravings, released by Decadent Publishing.

Now, it’s time to create a little hell and get to the good stuff by revealing all of Eva Lefoy’s wicked secrets while on the Road to Hell. LOL  Yeah, you wish! ;-D

Grab your favorite drink, sink your teeth into something decadent, sit back, relax and enjoy getting to know Eva Lefoy…

~~~
GRACEN:  Tell me three things about yourself that we cannot find on the internet or in your bio?
Eva Lefoy: My favorite beer is Irish Death. Cats over dogs, definitely. And I’m still trying to decide: Colin Firth or Matthew MacFadyen as Mr. Darcy… that’s a tough one. I might just have to watch them both again! Move over and hand me the popcorn!
GRACEN: What hobbies and interests do you participate in when you’re not writing?
Eva Lefoy: Hiking! Yoga and watching Once Upon a Time. Yep. Probably in that order. I grew up hiking around the hills and now that I’ve moved back home (over ten years ago) I’ve started hiking again. Yoga is something I picked up from studies of Eastern religion. It’s a great way to stay focused and create strength – for all that hiking! :) And Once Upon a Time is the ONLY time during the week I turn on the TV.
GRACEN: I like Once Upon a Time, too! Do you have any writing quirks or certain things you MUST have or do before beginning the writing process?
Eva Lefoy: I am a total pantster. The characters must turn me on though, or I can’t really write them. For that reason, I don’t do character worksheets. They are way too boring!
GRACEN: If you were plotting to take over the world, how would you do it?
Eva Lefoy: I’d call the creators of Star Trek and make them help me re-create the future as they did. Really. If I could make everyone wear primary colored uniforms, I would! Just think, no money, sex with alien species…. Heh.
GRACEN: If you could make one statement that the entire planet would hear and remember, what would it be?
Eva Lefoy: You’ve gotta figure it out yourself. Really. Oh, and life’s short, so get your ass in gear and get to it!
GRACEN:  Very true words! What genre do you write and why that genre?
Eva Lefoy: Holy moly! What DON’T I write? Let’s see. I write M/M, contemporary, Romcom, SFR, Paranormal, historical, etc. etc. etc. Help!!! I would have to say though that right now M/M is my favorite, since I just sold my first M/M to Decadent Publishing! Wheee!
GRACEN: For those who are not yet familiar with Eva Lefoy, can you please give us some details about the book and/or series?
Eva Lefoy: My first book with Decadent is Sweet Cravings, a foodie romance involving whipped cream, stainless steel tables and a bit of *hot* sex. My second book with Decadent will be in their popular One Night Stand series and is a M/M romance set in Mumbai, India. I can’t wait until it comes out!
GRACEN:  That photo is enough to make my tongue start climaxing! Do you have any new stories in the works and can you tell us a bit about it/them?
Eva Lefoy: Oddly enough, I’m right now working on another M/M story about werewolves. See, I can’t possibly tell what you genres I DO write, it’s much easier to say which I haven’t. YET.
GRACEN: If you could describe your writing with one word or brief phrase, what would it be? Please delve into the core of your writing to tell us what word or phrase you want readers to take with them when they’ve finished reading your story.
Eva Lefoy: Recognition and redemption. Recognition of the truth, whatever form that takes, and redemption of lost hope.
GRACEN: What, in your opinion, makes your story unique and what makes it stand out from other stories in your genre? Think of this as a pitch to convince readers to pick up your books.
Eva Lefoy: My Sweet Cravings story is about a full sized woman. Not a size 4. Not a size 6, but a size 16, a size 18. Not a skinny super model! And the hero likes her that way, proving once and for all for readers that the normal sized girls ARE sexy to guys. The cream puffs are just a bonus : )
GRACEN: I personally think women are more attractive when they're not so skinny. And I know a lot of guys agree. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever done in the name of research?
Eva Lefoy: Well, I’ve had some weird conversations about tentacles. Don’t go there.
GRACEN: LOL Okay, I won't. Of all your books, which character did you have the most fun creating and why?
Eva Lefoy: Well, Doth and Justin are two characters that haven’t come to life yet. I would say they are fun, but that’s an understatement. They’re downright wacky! Unfortunately, they kind of took over my brain for a while, so I had to put them on the shelf. They’re sitting there, doing a Beavis and Butthead routine right now, I’m sure.
GRACEN: If you had the opportunity to meet just one of your characters in real life, who would it be and why?
Eva Lefoy: Arjun from my One Night Stand, Lover Enslaved. It would be so great to travel to India, see Mumbai and immerse myself in Hindu culture. I know I’d probably have a hard time leaving India though…
GRACEN: Which of your characters would you never want to meet under any circumstance and why?
Eva Lefoy: Ranjeet from my One Night Stand, Lover Enslaved. He’s a slick, gun-toting, wrecking ball machine of a man. He has no scruples and no human decency. You wouldn’t invite this fellow over for dinner.
GRACEN:  If you were interviewing yourself, what is the one question you would ask yourself and please give us the answer to that question?
Eva Lefoy: What is the meaning of life? And the answer is 42.
GRACEN:  You have me extremely curious over the 42 answer. lol Thanks so much for joining us, Eva Lefoy!  It’s been a treat getting to know you better!
BLURB:
Sweet Cravings
Riding the waves of a sugar high, Violet Cunningham seduces the town’s newest pastry chef, slathering him with whipped cream in his secret kitchen. But all that is made of sugar melts, and her brazenness vanishes soon after their tryst, leaving her battling old insecurities about her waistline and appetites, courtesy of her mother. Positive she’s only made a fool of herself, she’s mortified when her boss sends her back to sexy Chef Max’s kitchen and into the proverbial frying pan.
After a red-hot date, her chef disappears, and Violet’s emotions simmer to a boil, forcing her to confront the awful truth: there’s more to life than pastry.
EXCERPT:
A tantalizing tongue dragged a searing trail down my lower back and over my tailbone, where it dipped below the panty line. The chef’s succulent lips paused to press a kiss, and I shivered as liquid heat surged through my core. Wetness I’d never experienced before drenched my panties, leaving me breathless. He blazed a path down my cleft and roughly tugged the remaining fabric away. The panties hit my ankles, and I lifted each stiletto heel to step out of them.
He slid his palms up my thighs to my ass and gently pressed me forward, urging me to bend over. The only thing in front of me was a gleaming, tundra-cold, stainless steel table. It didn’t exactly beckon. I leaned over, both hands flat on the table and paused, panting.
He stepped away from me for a second, and I immediately missed his touch. I was about to protest the loss, when he set the bowl of whipped-cream filling on the table in front of me just out of reach, right next to the wall.
Driven toward the sweet smell of sugar like a moth to a layer cake of light, I willingly bent and let my hip bones contact the freezing surface. My hands reached toward the bowl. I’d just dipped my forefinger in and covered it with a nice-sized dollop of cream when his tongue pressed against my exposed sex.
Orgasms floating on fluffy cream clouds formed a tango line inside my loins.
Sadly, I only got to eat one of the cream puffs my fellow writers group member made for my book release party. But maybe next time? They were good!
Also, Allie I'm a Trekkie from wayyyyy back. I also have a soft spot for Star Blazers!
